Filey's Nursery offers two unique programs September - May.   We offer a 3 & 4 year old program that meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings and a Pre-K program that meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and afternoons. Call for a tour of our secure classroom! 717-432-2037

 

 

MISSION STATEMENT
We offer a program that is child-centered and based on two dimensions of developmental appropriateness. Our curriculum provides for all areas of a child’s development: physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual. Our program emphasizes learning as an interactive process. The environment is prepared to allow children to learn through active explorations and interaction with other children, materials, and caring adults. Our activities and materials are concrete, real, and relevant to the lives of young children.

Our main goal is to build each child’s self-esteem and confidence as he or she learns to participate, explore, and discover in a group situation where Christian values are fostered.

 

 

Staff

All of our state certified teachers are from the Dillsburg area. Christina Wiley is our  

new Director - after the retirement of our previous Director who taught since 2000.
