Welcome to our website and to our Christian community at Christ Lutheran Church, Filey’s!
We invite people of all ages and at all stages of faith to visit us and join with us in worshipping God through our lives and our liturgies. We welcome young children, hosting both a pre-school and a daycare center through the week, and we include a children’s time in our worship service and Sunday School following worship. Nobody is too young or too old to serve God, and nobody is too young or too old to be welcome here. Some of us have been on a journey with God for decades, and some are just starting out, or starting over. Where ever you are at in your faith journey, you are welcome to come and worship with us.
In worship, we try to mix tradition with new ideas, aiming for a balance of comfort and excitement. While this congregation is over 200 years old, we are still finding new ways to experience and serve our Lord. Sunday worship is held in-person at 9:00 a.m. Refer to the home page or contact the church office for information on how to join us for Sunday worship.
